My name is Susana Juarez-Alderete. I was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.
When I was a teenager I came to the U.S. in pursuit of the American Dream.
I always wanted to be a teacher. I received my B.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education, then my Teaching Certification from National University. I have twenty-four years of teaching experience, nineteen of those in the Seventh-day Adventist system. I believe I have the best job in the world, because besides having high academic standards for my students and being part of their academic success, I can also provide them with the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My goal is to create in my classroom a safe and accepting environment for my students, where they can strive to do their best. Here at Glenview we have a holistic approach to teaching, engaging the student’s mind, body and soul.
